Every new, restored, or protected surface requires regular cleaning to looks its best. HMK Stone Soap has been formulated for safe and effective cleaning of nature stone without the loss of luster.

To minimize damage caused by day-to-day activities and extend the time between professional visits, please follow these simple guidelines.

- Clean stone surfaces regularly Surfaces that have been restored, preserved or protected will continue to look their best if cleaned regularly. Use HMK Stone Soap when doing regular house cleaning.

- Keep polished stone dust free Ordinary dust particles will obscure the natural beauty of your stone. You should dry-dust surfaces regularly using a non-abrasive mop.

- Tend to spills immediately Alcohol, juices, and soda may cause damage to your stone. Clean the spill with HMK Stone Soap and a non-abrasive cloth as soon as possible. Keep a spray bottle with diluted HMK Stone Soap handy for accidental spills.

- Never use vinegar or harsh cleaners These chemicals, which can be found in many household cleaners, react to many types of stones and finishes. They may result in etching of your stone and the loss of your stone's luster.

- Use door mats at entrances Foot traffic exposes your stone to outdoor elements and increases the chance of scratching and dulling stone surfaces.

- Use furniture pads and coasters to avoid metal contamination Metal plates under furniture legs may cause scratching, rust spots and stains. All stone should be protected with felt pads if it is contact with metal.

- Grout cleaning & stubborn stains To clean your grout or handle stubborn stains, use a nylon brush with HMK Stone Soap, aggressively scrub the area and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

- Shower & vanity cleaning To clean, dilute HMK Stone Soap with clean water and put in a spray bottle. Spray on shower or vanity surface and rinse with clean water. Always use a squeegee to remove excess water from your shower walls.
